The chef Jozef Stanislav has from his very childhood grown up in the environment where maximum attention was paid to the preparation of meals. At the beginning stood his grandmother – mother of the National Bank of Slovakia governor prof. dr. Imrich Karvaš. She was an extraordinary cook with experience from the French cuisine, which she successfully applied in the preparation of various important parties.
It was especially her who helped him to spark and develop his culinary relationship to the preparation of meals. Later came the sense for the top quality raw materials, modern technology, knowledge of various cultures and customs. They have become the basis of his cuisine and helped to create his specific style.
He had been steadily working on the idea of opening his own restaurant in Liptov since 1990. He managed to achieve this in 2004 and he gradually implements new methods of preparation and presentation into the traditional Slovak cuisine.
Martina, her rich experience in the field, sense for design, kindness, encompassing feeling of hospitality and ability to establish a good service team that embodies her visions made her the spirit of the restaurant and pension. Her sense of foresight and business attitude helped the restaurant to come closer to the aim to become the best restaurant in the region.
Janka, her long-standing experience, professional knowledge, knowledge of top gastronomy, hospitality and love for people grounded deep in her heart brought her to the very top of our team. Management skills enhanced with her professional education and language capacities make her a valuable addition to every sophisticated service team.
